Club Unión de Costa Rica Participates in the 16th Ibero-American Meeting of Social and Cultural Clubs
Club Unión de Costa Rica participated in the 16th Ibero-American Meeting of Social and Cultural Clubs, held at Club Unión de Guayaquil in Ecuador. Over four days, the event brought together presidents and board members from prominent clubs across Ibero-America.
The meeting welcomed representatives from Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Mexico, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Portugal, and Uruguay, creating an opportunity to exchange experiences, strengthen relationships, and share perspectives on club management and the future of these institutions.
During their stay, participants also had the opportunity to experience the historical and cultural richness of Guayaquil, including its architecture, art, cuisine, and some of the city's most iconic sites.
One of the highlights of the gathering was a visit to the new Club Unión in Samborondón, a major project developed under the leadership of Lifetime President Luis Eduardo Gómez and Board President Ricardo Baquerizo Amador. The new facilities were recognized as a source of inspiration for the way they bring together tradition, elegance, and a forward-looking vision.
For Club Unión de Costa Rica, participating in this international gathering also provided an opportunity to reaffirm the importance of its own history and legacy while strengthening ties with institutions that share a longstanding social and cultural tradition throughout Ibero-America.
