Costa Rica Tennis Club and CNFL Sign Agreement to Advance Solar Energy Generation

On May 27, 2026, the Costa Rica Tennis Club (CRTC) and the National Power and Light Company (CNFL) officially signed a Solar Energy Generation Agreement, reinforcing both institutions’ commitment to sustainability, innovation, and energy efficiency.
The agreement was signed by Dr. E. Bernal García Córdoba, President of the Board of Directors of the Costa Rica Tennis Club, and Eng. Luis Fernando Andrés Jácome, General Manager of the National Power and Light Company, representing the utility.
The event was attended by CNFL officials, business partners, members of the CRTC Board of Directors, and representatives of the Club’s Audit Committee, who joined in marking this important milestone.
The agreement represents a significant step forward in the Club’s sustainability strategy, promoting the use of renewable energy and the development of infrastructure focused on energy efficiency and environmental responsibility.
As part of the project, the Costa Rica Tennis Club will also add covered parking spaces in its main parking area, providing greater convenience for members while supporting the infrastructure associated with the initiative.
Through this agreement, the Costa Rica Tennis Club reaffirms its long-term vision and commitment to sustainable development, advancing projects that benefit its members while contributing to environmental stewardship and the well-being of future generations.
